Mission
The mission is a simple one: every AED in your care is checked, in date and on record. Your team does the work in the field. The software carries the register, the schedule and the history, so the state of the program is visible without asking around.
The product covers the register, the phone-first inspection flow, expiry tracking, consumables and the audit trail. It runs as a web application, and the inspection flow works in the browser on Android and iOS phones. Site staff join the account by invite. Each device has a site custodian and a last inspector on record. The inspection record holds the checklist answers, the inspector and the date, together with any notes and photos. The register is one list for every brand, and the schedule is one place for every site. The audit trail keeps the record: user and system events, device history and inspection history.
Why we exist
An AED can fail because a pad is past its date or because a battery is flat. Those failures are quiet. A program that lives in a spreadsheet and a paper binder loses the date, and no one notices until a check is due or an auditor asks for the record.
The daily job of an AED program is small and constant: keep every unit inspected, keep the consumables in date and keep the paperwork. When the record sits in folders or in one person's memory, the program depends on that person. ReadyAED exists to move the job into one place, with one status model for every device. The register shows four states: Ready, Due soon, Overdue and Offline. Each state carries an icon and a word, so a status never depends on colour alone.
The teams that use it are facility managers, safety managers, EHS (environment, health and safety) teams and compliance officers. Some run a single site. Some run many sites and a mixed fleet of brands. The register treats both cases the same way: one list, one status and one record per device.
The software-only pledge
ReadyAED is software only. It sells no hardware and no consumables, and it does not bundle them. That position is deliberate. The register reports what your fleet holds, and the company has no reason to push one brand or one consumable over another. Consumables are fulfilled by partners. You can create a purchase order in the app, and a partner supplies the item.
The software is hardware-agnostic. It keeps one register for AEDs of any brand. A mixed fleet works the same way as a single-brand fleet: one register, one status model and one inspection flow. Documents such as manuals, certificates and service records upload and download per device. The commercial model follows the same rule. The software charges one flat rate.
